Mohinder Nayyar: Mohinder Nayyar, P.E. is an ASME Fellow and an internationally recognized specialist in the area of piping, valves, materials, and codes and standards. As a member of the ASME Council on Standards and Certification, Vice Chair of the ASME Board on Pressure Technology Codes and Standards, member, chair and vice chair of several national and international level code committees, Mr.Nayyar has made invaluable contribution in effecting changes to codes and standards resulting in new rules and considerable savings in addition to resolving technical issues in compliance with applicable codes for the code users. He has 45 years of design engineering experience on a variety of domestic and international mega fossil and nuclear power and other projects.

He has provided engineering advice and code interpretations to senior management and day to day guidance to all business lines of Bechtel Corporation. He has initiated and implemented numerous innovative ideas to improve working process and quality; developed and conducted training programs for clients and others; published articles on valves, author article titled “Pipeline” for the 7th Edition of Science and Technology Encyclopedia, author and Editor-in-Chief of The Piping Handbook, Sixth and Seventh Editions, (1992 and 1999) published by McGraw-Hill Book Company and authored “Piping Data book”, First Edition, published by McGraw-Hill, 2002. Currently, he is Chairman of the ASME B31, Standards Committee on Pressure Piping Code.
He has served as Chair of ASME B31.1, Power Piping Code Committee (2003-2009) and several other committees. He is the Vice Chairman, ISO TC5/SC 10, Subcommittee on Metallic Flanges and their Joints since 2003 and also a Member of ISO/TC/153, USA Technical Advisory Group, Main Committee since 2001 on Design, Manufacture and Marking of Valves. Mr.Nayyar has been recipient of several awards and honors including “MASTER OF POWER PIPING” Award in 2009 for his accomplishments and has his name listed in “Marquis Who’s who in America and the World” since 1995.

Ramesh Tiwari: Ramesh Tiwari is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland in the United States.
He is a member of ASME Section VIII Subgroup on Heat Transfer Equipment, and member of ASME International Working Group in India on B31.1 for Power Piping. Ramesh has over 22 years of experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks used in oil & gas and power industry. His expertise also extends to combined cycle power plants, coal gasification technology, and solar power plants. He has worked with engineering organizations and pressure vessel manufacturers in US, Germany and India. He has given pressure vessel training in Canada and India, and has held several in-house workshops in United States.
Ramesh is also an approved pressure vessel instructor at NTPC, a premier thermal power generating company in India.He is a guest faculty at Great Lakes Institute of Energy Management &Research and at NTPC for solar power and combined cycle power plants.
